KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 (Bernama) — Healthy eating is key to maintaining good
health. Research has shown that olive oil contains most anti-oxidant among
edible oils and consumption of olive oil helps in lowering heart disease risk.
In conjunction with Mother’s Day celebration, SANGLA FOODS SDN BHD has launched
“Healthy Family, Happy Mom” campaign in AEON nationwide stores with the aim to
create awareness on the goodness of olive oil in daily diet to maintain good
heart-health for the whole family.
To find out more on the goodness of olive oil, consumers are encouraged to visit
7 participating AEON outlets across nationwide which are Maluri Cheras, Mid
Valley, One Utama, Kinta City Ipoh, Tebrau City Johor, Mahkota Cheras and
Seremban 2 which starts from May 1 till May 20. There will also be cooking
demonstrations running at selected AEON stores by Celebrity Chef Zam.
“Olive Oil is a key ingredient in most of my recipes, perfect for healthy
cooking for the whole family. It is an excellent source of antioxidants, rich
in aroma with a distinctive taste and can be used daily for a well-balanced
diet” said Celebrity Chef Zam during a cooking event in AEON Mid Valley.
Besides this, SANGLA FOODS will also pledge RM 1.00 for every bottle of
COLAVITA EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL 1 Litre and RM 0.50 for every 500ml sold at all
AEON stores nationwide to the Malaysian AEON Foundation throughout campaign
period from May 1 till 31.
